Child Supplement of the Federal State of Styria

Who?
The Child Supplement will be paid to parents (also adoptive and foster parents) for their children after birth, if a certain income limit is not exceeded. 

How long?
From birth for 12 months

How much?
145,35€  monthly

Applications have to be filed with the local authorities or at the Amt der Steiermärkischen Landesregierung.

Free kindergarten for 3-6 year-old children

Who?
All children going to an education or care institution (kindergarten, children’s houses, day mothers).

How long?
From the 3rd year to reaching the age of compulsory schooling, for half-time as well as full-time care.

How much?
The free offer is valid for the education and care offers.
Fees for food, materials, excursions, day trips etc. are not included.
