An application usually has to be written in German. It usually contains:
Letter of application
In the letter of application, you will shortly refer to the advert through which you know about the job. You will describe your qualifications and motivation in a few sentences. The letter of application does not exceed 1 DIN A4 page.
Curriculum vitae, CV
Besides contact data (address, phone number, e-Mail) and personal data you will describe your education and special knowledge and abilities.
The CV is signed personally.
Motivation letter
In a short motivation letter which you might attach to the CV, you can describe your reasons why this specific job would be interesting to you.
Certificates and degrees
You will attach your last certificates and degrees as a copy.
Some institutions and organisations have their own application forms which have to be filled in.
